LEON’s Challenge Playbooks give you a healthy, safe way to improve performance without tanking well-being. Here’s how...
LEON’s Growth Windows highlight which teams are scoring highest across happiness, burnout, grit, adaptability, inclusion and alignment.
As a manager, this means LEON makes it easy for you to identify and leverage the capacity you’ve built up as a team. Challenge Playbooks in the new Playbook Library are a way to level your team up when they are most prepared to receive that stimulus.
An example might be committing to specific sales outbound activity metrics to hit a lofty quarterly goal when burnout is low, or implementing an upskilling strategy when adaptability is high and people are in a state where they can retain the information well.
Either way, the goal is clear; identify areas of opportunity in your team and apply the right playbooks to succeed as a team.
A common question around playbooks is when people should send them?
In short - that’s totally up to you! But here’s some guidance…
It starts with the theory we are applying from exercise science; when we are in a fully recovered state, our capacity to perform is at its highest. In sport science this is called “readiness”, and represents when an athlete is tracking as desired before a big game.
When your team is scoring high on the Performance Index, you have the option to send Challenge Playbooks to leverage that readiness to hit goals or push the upper limits of performance.
This comes at a cost however, and often will lead to a relatively lower score in the following weeks.
That’s OK!
LEON will let you know when you’re pushing too hard and people need recovery instead.
Playbooks can be accessed in one of two ways:
By clicking on your team Growth Windows to get contextual, and recommended Playbooks, or by accessing the library through the main menu library icon.
Using your Growth Window reports, determine if you and your team need a support or challenge Playbook and if you would like to run a Playbook specifically for you as a manager, or with the team.
Select the Playbook that works best, making sure to:
There you have it. Now, go publish some Playbooks and watch your team take off!
